He found it yesterday.

It's the very first post on the board, and yes, it has been deleted.

I have to admit I do like horror movies, the zombie genre best of all (before that I liked Dr Who, a progressive disease no doubt). My wife likes Jane Austen; I'm not sure who has the bigger problem.

Check out Fido - it's bit different and good for quite a few laughs.

I saw Fido a few weeks ago, unimpressive, 28 weeks later I think is best of the genre so far. Liked Serenity (saw just recently), liked Resedent Evil (who can't like Milla Jovovich [^]no matter what movie she was in!!!), however, I'm getting a kick out of Max Brooks novels, probably start Z Wars next week.

You must mean he found the Soap Box Lite yesterday, not The Back Room (AKA Genuine SoapBox). I don't think any of us moderators would delete Dato; he's much too amusing, and Chris only looks in here to see if we've given up and gone away yet...

Well, my report of his posting did refer to Soap Box Lite, as implied by the context of the post I was replying to:

I didn't think 28 Weeks Later was anywhere near as good as the first movie. And when I saw Serenity in the list, at first I thought "HUH?!?" But I guess the reapers are kind of zombyish. I loved FireFly and Serenity... Wish they hadn't cancelled it.

I thought 28 days later a bit amarteurst, 28 weeks later looked more professional... but it's been a long time since I saw '28 days later'. I have first season of FireFly in Netflix queue, thanks for suggestion.

It was cancelled early on. In fact, I think the last one or two episodes didn't even air. Which is why they made the movie, to finish the story. Shame really, the first season was great.

Don't put yourself through the torture, I beg you. Sure she's nice to look at, but the RE movies are so disgustingly predictable and generally crap. The only movie worse than any RE movie I have seen was Doom, which coincidentally, was basically RE2 on Mars and no Milla Jovovich to look at.

Is anyone watching Whedon's Dollhouse? I find it hard to remember it is on.

I don't think it's working the way he wanted it to. Soapbox lite only draws posts when it imitates us.

It didn't look that interesting to me... And my TV schedule is pretty full. Though Life ended the season last week, Chuck and Heroes ends Monday, The Big Bang Theory has two more, Better Off Ted's first season apparently only has 7 episodes, and I'm only watching 24 online since I usually don't leave the office for lunch. Wonder if Jack is finally gonna friggin die and end the series...

Perhaps because many of the posters tend to be from US, AGW, and libertarian or conservative which are bastard children from the rest of the planet. In Perez 's "Chris's" mind it's best to censor it.

You forgot in many cases respectful of religion.

It is, of course, his website, so there's no way he can actually censor it; he simply chooses what he wishes to see his property proclaim, as his right and probably and his responsibility. I wouldn't be surprised, however, to discover that a majority of his advertisers were from the US, AGW, religious and/or libertarian or conservative.

I get my news online or via radio, so I guess I'm immune. On a seperate note, I miss the the Dato's and Captain C#'s, I know that makes me a wack job too, but some people just like to watch the train crash... :-O

Aren't those programs more about partisan opinionated whining rather than news?
