Pretty much demonstrates why Hanna and Barberra never made it big time until they started producing low-res, minimum frames-per-second stuff for the little box.

Good find. Thanks. Harding University is the most conservative and flag ship of schools sponsored by the congregations that call themselves "The Churches of Christ"

What gave it away? That kgm365 referred to them as "the congregations that call themselves "The Churches of Christ"?"

                Always. Inevitably.

Actually, Yes. The congregations that call themselves the "Church Of Christ" are only tied together by the universities and colleges they support (and where their preachers come from), they will never admit to being a denomination. Harding is their premier university (if it is the same one as mentioned at the beginning of the toon). However two sects split off them that were tonsly more liberal in many of their beliefs many years ago. "The United Church of Christ" and "The Disciples of Christ". I would not be surprised if Obama's "church" is of one of those sects. But it's a very very long road from Harding to Harvard, and from "Church of Christ" to "United Church of Christ". However, there is some irony, in that we all know who Mr. ISM is in the Harding cartoon.

Then there is the ICOC, which seems to have fallen off the deep end in the other direction.
