So If you had to flee US what country would you flee too?

answer; None. Yes we are FUBAR, but we are still the best bet on the planet. I'm not trying to be a son-of-a-bitch but I'm looking, and we are still the best country on the planet :(( Obama and what-the-fuck-what-ever. Convince me I'm wrong? Sorry... had a couple of adult beverages....
I flee the USA regularly, and I always go to the same place. Australia. Wouldn't swap it for quids. The USA is nice and all, but it's also good to be home.

Hmmm. I'm almost convinced. I would like to visit Australia and damn if you guys aren’t proactive! Between you and Guas I'm almost, (and pretty nearly) convinced for a visit. :) Sorry, an aside... Can I bring my guns?
Am I allowed to bring guns into the US ? They seem to suggest otherwise....

Tell me what to visit. Let us know what attractions to visit and what's interesting.
Much as I hate Telstra, I *love* the new bigpond ads.

Having been to Finland a number of times, I would have to agree with the author of that article. The only problem with Finland is winter: it's too long, too cold and too dark.

I was thinking of visiting Chile for a vacation. That is a long country with a variety of climates. What part did you visit?

be cautious, I had a guy working for me for a couple of years that came from Chile, maybe 10 years ago. He didn't have much good to say about the country.

So the called the really nice one, Iceland, and the so-so one, Greenland. Yes. Baja California is a horrible place to live; anybody who would move there would be faced with nothing but desert and snakes and horrible climate and lightning strikes and locusts and plague.

I was in Santiago for nearly a week on business, so I didn't get to see much of the country except from the air. The part of Santiago where I was staying was nice, but we drove by some pretty rough looking areas to get there. The people were friendly and seemed very helpful and tolerant of my speaking very little Spanish. On some days the smog was very bad in Santiago and on others pretty clear. When it's bad, it's kind of like Los Angeles. The city is surrounded by mountains, which makes it worse. The drivers are insane, but everything seemed to flow smoothly. I wish I would have more free time to sightsee.

What gripes did he have, not even safe for vacation?
he wasn't specific, just said he longer felt safe there. I never really drilled down but my impression was that his choices were: leave or die.
