I've just got a new flat monitor, a ViewSonic Vx800. It's superb :-D. My card has not a DVI output. How's the difference in quality between DVI and analog connection of a flat monitor? Should I request a new card with a DVI output? Thanks Pavel Sonork 100.15206

If your monitor has a DVI input, get a card that has a DVI output. From what I've read and heard, the quality is far better, because the video signal doesn't have to go from digital to analog (at the video card) and then analog back to digital (at the monitor). Cards that have DVI output are pretty cheap nowadays, I would assume. About a year ago I paid $100 USD for a GeForce2-based card that had DVI out.
