I can verify this to be true by the fact that you have said it. In a manner of speaking.

It's at the very least a few hundred K cooler than Heaven, so you won't fry so badly.

'freak, That you may be a slightly less reprehensible embodiment (or, perhaps you just don't put as much effort into it) of the passive-aggressive mindset than Graus doesn't change that you are what you are. You want to act the way you want to act. Fine, do it. But then, you seem to expect that every one else, including me, your target, simply *must* buy into your silly little martyr game when I respond to you as you obviously wish to be treated. That doesn't wash.

I really don't need your permission. I act in a similar method to you. I treat people as they have treated me. If you're rude to me, then you don't deserve to get a polite response. I dislike conflict, but I refuse to be cowed by rudeness, annoying asterisks, underscores and other unnecessarily used punctuation (apart from accidental grammatical errors). That said, if you want to resolve this particular conflict, then I'm happy to co-operate in that respect

A martyr is usually dead; hopefully not a declaration of intent ;)

Little by little, wean yourself. This is the gist of what I have to say. From an embryo, whose nourishment comes in the blood, move to an infant drinking milk, to a child on solid food, to a searcher after wisdom, to a hunter of more invisible game.

:-D There are a few other gems. Like this[^] and this: IF 'materialism' is the truth about the nature of reality, THEN minds (or 'souls' if you prefer that word) cannot exist. BUT minds do exist. THEREFORE, 'materialism' (and 'physicalism,' and 'naturalism,' and 'atheism,' and 'agnosticism') is clearly seen to be false. (I can't remember where the second one comes from, sorry!)

American Thinker: Time to Legalize Counterfeiting[^]

Many Americans today believe certain illegal vices in our society should be decriminalized, taxed, and regulated. The most popular of these vices include marijuana smoking, prostitution, and all forms of gambling. The proponents for decriminalization believe that the new tax revenues produced would help support schools, healthcare, and the impoverished, ease the pain of taxpayers, and reduce the deficit. They also believe that transgressions such as these will take place no matter, but, if properly regulated, would be safer for society in general. It would be a win, win situation. Unfortunately, when it comes to lowering taxes and helping the downtrodden, the best-laid government plans seem to fall short of expectations. However, there is one vice, one small illegal indiscretion, that, if decriminalized would solve all our problems. The United States needs to legalize the victimless crime known as counterfeiting. ...
