How to set the menu width according to data

Hi i am using menu in my website but i am unable to handle it my menu look like same as code project menu if i open my side in desktop monitor means CRT monitor its fit according to the data present in my site but when i open same site in laptop its not working properly means menu is starching towards left side as the width of the screen increasing my question is how to maintain the menu width according to data its does not starch as the screen of laptop increases i think i put my question correctly please help its very important thanks in advance

Thanks brother for your support bother i used cascading style sheet(css) but i unable to handle the width i used same menu as this site have please help me regarding this
