2007 - Chinese year of the Chicken. Bird Flu Pandemic devastates parts of Asia. 2008 - Chinese year of the Horse. Equine Influenza decimates Australian racing. 2009 - Chinese year of the Pig - Swine Flu Pandemic. Next year -2010- is Chinese year of the C*ck. What could possibly go wrong?

Lead laced KFC? Or even more sinister, Cyborg Mexican Fighting Roosters. Or the impossible, the Gamecocks win the SEC.

How can I possibly dispute on this particular matter the knowledge of one who knows himself to be both "more man than [I'll] ever be" and "more woman than [I'll] ever get?" But I *can* note that you two appear to have quite odd interests.

On the other hand - Chinese Zodiac[^]; the "year of the chicken" and the "year of the cock" would be the same thing, the most recent having been roughly 2005, the next will be roughly 2017. Amusingly enough, I was born in a "year of the cock."
