Discovery Documentary about North Korea's Nuclear Capabilities and More

I imagine most people here are aware that North Korea is not such a nice place to live. Is there some point to you posting these links? Do you have something to say?

Indeed I do. There are lessons to be learned here. North Korea is a prime example of the masses believing what they are told no matter how outrageous or fictional it may sound to a half knowledgeable intellectual or even a dumbass. It is the perfect example of how people can be led into slavery and complete ignorance and will fight to remain that way because they refuse to believe anything else. It is necessary for people to educate themselves about this very real state so they can realize when it is happening tot them. I suspect it might be too late as almost all nations are governed this way, even the great United Nations, I mean States.

But don't you see it, Josh? Your next prime minister will be calling himself "Dear Leader" and threatening to attack the United States and New Zealand if they presume to interfere with Australia's nuclear tests.

No no no you've got it all wrong. Our next PM will be a puppet of the new world order and will join Australia to the new nation of the UN thereby voiding our rights as a sovereign nation. Anyone who dissents will be placed into a camp run by FEMA We're off to Geneva in July and had planned to go on a tour of the UN if possible. I plan to say g'day to our new overlords. Hopefully when the new world order change comes they'll remember what a nice guy I was, let me keep my boxer shorts and not make me wear the new hemp budgie smugglers.

But they have been led into complete ignorance, how can they refuse to believe in 'anything else'. How would they know that there was an 'anything else' to believe in? That aside, why are you posting here? There are only a couple of posters here to whom all this would be a revelation - and one of them is you.

Twat! Have you ever lived in a totalitarian regime? You have no idea of the reality. How about someone not agreeing with this post so you get put in jail without trial for six months? That doesn't happen [often] in any Western country. What do I know? Not a lot. What do my in-laws know? More than you'll 'research' in a dozen lifetimes. Go read Under the Frog[^], my Father in Law lived through this. Because he felt that it would be better for Hungary to be run by Hungarians he was jailed for six months until it was decided to let him go; no charge was ever made and no reason fro release given. His degree and qualifications meant nothing because he had 'the wrong name'. It would take almost twenty years before he regained his reputation. Hungary, by the standards of the Eastern Block, had a very mild form of Communism.
Panic, Chaos, Destruction. My work here is done.

You mean get indoctrinated and shut up. I can get more education out of a good book and 40 bucks than I could in a crowded germ infested classroom and 5k.

No. I left school at 15 - no qualifications. No block to moving up, if you are sufficiently intelligent and competent. And I am self educated.

That is possible, but in your case, I doubt it. From your posts, you appear unable to critically analyse your own and others beliefs, and are merely dismissive of any opinion that challanges your world view. Self education? No, self indoctrination. And, please, no expletives, UPPER CASE, and silly red faces. Grow up.
