    Hi All, I have a sonny vaio Model (vgn-ar41s) running windows Vista. I could not boot the Pc now.Is there any one who can get me the link for the Recovery CD? Many thanks

      My future wife's VAIO only has a recovery partition. Can't remember how to start into that one, but it was described in the manual.

        If you haven't deleted the recovery partition - try repeatedly pressing F8 at boot. This should bring up recovery/repair options.

            Well, I had the same problem... there is a simple solution if you didn't damage the recovery partition on the harddisk. Set the recovery partition as the 'active' partition, that is enough to start the recovery process... after the recovery, just create your recovery disks.
