Paul Watson wrote: Mechano is better... well at least it did not break as easily as Technic I have never had any Lego Technic, but I never did like Mechano as much as plain old Lego - I always lost the little nuts and bolts thingies and rendered my kit useless. :(( At least with lego you only get the occasional chewed brick! Paul Watson wrote: Probably mixed in with my few kilograms of Lego. *sigh* Many happy memories, screw other toys, Lego was all I needed. True, true. I have two large cretes (the size of archive boxes) full of Lego containing about ten years worth of my own as well as the combines twenty years worth passed down from my older sisters. Lego is that strange toy that everybody has and everybody has played with. I can remember when I got a firestation kit (before all these crappy "space invaders" and "atlantis warriors" series came out) - I sat down to build the firestation and ended up with a cool James Bond villan lair with shark pool, secret walls and everything! I still say if it can't be done with Lego and a little pinch of imagination then it just aint possible. :-D Paul Watson wrote: You just have to be different, don't you? I try my best.

Mindstorms right? I think I've got a set somewhere tucked away in my closet... Last week I stated that this woman was the ugliest woman I had ever seen. I have since been visited by her sister and now wish to withdraw that statement. -Mark Twain

That sounds like Mindstorms robots. I have the programming book here on the shelf, but haven't ever gotten around to playing with it. I have in mind a wireless-controlled Lego attack dog for the yard... Word of the day: Rotundacrat

Then we can all move on to "real" robotics. Seriously though, I have heard of engineers using Mindstorms for concept stuff. Maybe I'll pull out my Mindstorms book and learn that on my non-existent free time...:-D Last week I stated that this woman was the ugliest woman I had ever seen.
