I'm pretty sure I would not like to live in a world in which I would never be offended. I am absolutely certain I don't want to live in a world in which you would never be offended. Dave

Yes, I caught the satire. I thought of some other replies, like: "Ann Coulter, get out from that body!"

I'm going back to Amsterdam next month for work and a holiday, the red light district is one of the most seady, soulless, unpleasant places I've ever been. Think of a thousand drunk Pommy footballs fans and old fat men oggling women in their underwear. All the women have the same vacant look in their eyes and you cant help wonder what unfortunate turn of events led them to that place.

Nope but being a victim of crime could be seen as unfortunate. Once while walking through the area with a female friend a guy appeared out of nowhere and offered her "work".

I guess the place has gone to hell in a handbasket ever since the New Zealanders started visiting.

Neither. More a rolling of eyes and a quickening of step

I say we go the other route in a big way: annex & invade Canada: Most of their provinces are practically US state(s) already. We annex them, kill off the socialist shit and we're done. We get oil, better beer, more space and less land border to deal with. Mexico: We invade and take it all. Hell, they're living here anyways. We attempt to clean-up the drug trafficking and force them to speak American English. We get oil, more space, some damn nice vacation spots and less land border to defend against the Central Americans. I don't see much of a down side (for us).

How I wish there weren't such a thing. You keep leaving out the letters of words, and treat the letter 'Z' with far more respect than it actually deserves. It was relegated to the end of the alphabet for a reason

The last time I sang professionally, I was playing the role of Captain Hook - "Who's the slimiest slime in the world? Who's the crookedest crook? It's little ol' me, Mrs. Hook's favorite boy, Caaaahhhhhhhhhhp-tain Hook!" Then I went and tried to stick me rapier in Peter - she and I were having an helluvan affair offstage, too.
