Chattanooga is pretty rough looking these days
-
I've driven through Chattanooga many a time on my way to somewhere else and it's a bit rough looking in spots and quite sleepy most of the time. The high light I hear is taking your date to the local WalMart on Friday nights. anyway... These [^]girls were arrested for prostitution in Chattanooga. X|

I usually drive through Chattanooga on the way to Atlanta (last time was back in April). As much as I can see from I24 and I75, it doesn't look much different than it always has. It has been probably 10-12 years since I have been to any of the tourist traps...I went to the aquarium not long after it opened.

I doubt she was a looker to start with, but crack and meth takes its toll on a body...seen it first hand.

Well, I don't really know what to say, except the lighting in Chattanooga must be pretty poor.

"Police say the women are charged with prostitution too close to a school." Just how far away do they have to be?

That's a coincidence, I go to Atlanta quite a bit for business. I really don't like Atlanta much. I always get a hotel room on the Perimeter north of Atlanta even though work is near the city center. My favorite city south of the Mason Dixon line is Conway Arkansas.

The only time I go there lately is for conferences. I have been to the zoo, Six Flags and the Coke museum, but it has been a while.

I have never heard of it. Something special there or just a nice city? Have you ever been to Huntsville, AL?

Family there, clean, nice city. Lot's of places to roller blade. Nice people, lots of work. A few dollars can buy you a nice big brick house (say's my inlaws who want us to move there).

No, should I visit? What attractions should I visit.

Not a lot of attractions, just a nice place to live.[^]. The Space and Rocket Center is about the only touristy thing there is. The only celebrities we have running around are Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. They are only here part of the year, their son plays hockey at a local university.

There was this black guy with a thick Jamacan accent and dread locks down to his his arse. I was running up the mountain and as he was passing me I asked him how he was so good at running up the mountain. He told me this was his third lap going up and down the mountain after this lap he was done for the day. He looked to be in his 20's (I'm in my 40's). The bar was set, now every time I'm in Atlanta I try to do 3 laps up and down the mountain, so far I have only made it one and half times before I have to walk. My brother is a sales man who is many times in Atlanta, I hope to challenge him on a run up Stone Mountain :). Maybe I can beat him.

Thanks for the link. The fact that Goldie Hawn and Kirk Russel visit there is not enticing. But will check it out next time I'm that way. Thanks again.

Sheesh, how come Paris Hilton is still hot in a mug shot! On the other hand, Robert Downey, Jr. mug shot get better each iteration (practice makes perfect). He must be featured at least 5 times. :)

Paris is hot? There's a big orange bridge in SF I'll sell you cheap.

Yeah, toward the end he even seemed to be enjoying it. Probably good buds with the photographer by then and told him to be sure to get his good side.
