any idea what that was all about? what little I can infer from the posts is that if "we" don't like you or your posting style then you're shit. sort of odd behavior in a site supposedly fenced off so we can be wild and wooly.

Well, one or two so-called moderators started deleting my posts. I think it's more simply "if "we" don't like you then you're sh*t"

I was wondering the same thing. The timing seems to support it.

Rob and I are fed up with seeing this place filled with sh*t. We both feel that it's time to either moderate the place, for real, or move on. He's gone further down the track than I have and has moved on. The only options I have left for me at this point involve whether or not I start another site where we can post and argue without the two trolls ruining it for those of us who are sick and tired of being forced to associate with them, or just leave. According to the thread a couple of days ago about "How often do you post here?" and the responses to the "Time to Move On" thread I started today, there are quite a few that feel as Rob and I do. You are absolutely right that this is about posting "style." I don't give a damn whether someone agrees with me or not. But I do think this place is turning to shit because of the two of them and their constant trolling.

Nope, nor did I. Check your settings the next time you post. You turn it off once, it sticks now which is different from the way it used to be.

The "Send me an e-mail if someone replies to this message" box is still checked. I guess it's an issue on my end.

At one point Thunderbird started dumping all cp messages in the trash because I would dlete them every couple of days, and I had to set up a rule to keep it from doing that

I rebooted my Blackberry and a few minutes later it sync'd up with the server...11 unread messages.

Computafreak posted this in the lounge: I had an interesting day today. Quad-biking in the morning, followed by normal biking in the afternoon. Hour and a half of high-speed quad biking - no problems. It was excellent. Ten minutes into my normal bike ride, I'm going down a gravelly hill, when my bike slips. I end up chest-planting the hill. After continuing on for a little while, I go into the toilets to clean up. It turns out that I have a deep, cross-shaped gash in my chin, some scrapes on my chest and a slightly scraped knee. Great(!). After I've had something sugary to help avoid shock and crankiness at being hungry, I went to minor injuries. They've glued it back together and put a fluorescent green plaster on, which I have to keep on for 48 hours. I have school on Monday. Won't that be fun. It's been deleted, that is, lots of people voted it 1. WTF ?

Would that be the "bug" which allowed one or two persons to "automatically remove" my posts moments after I posted them? (I speak of the time before you made one or two of those persons "moderators" over this particular forum)
