Honestly ? Because, if one visit to a psychiatrist would get him the help he needs, I would offer to pay for it. It sounds like that's a pipe dream, the US health system appears to have him locked out.

The program that would (and probably is) paying for his health care is called Medicaid, is funded by the Feds but administered by each state and is open to the poor and the lazy, not the old, or the pregnant (pregnancy is not covered by Medicare, either, actually, but he knows no more about pregnancy than he knows about any other aspect of sex.) I disagree he made an argument, admittedly an abusive argument claiming your lack of intelligence. You just responded with an insult and rudeness. And it is a pattern with certain people in this forum.

There was a kid who got picked on by a few people, and everyone saw it. After a while people started joining in on the fun, in 1-3 years snowballed until the entire school knew who this kid was and hated him. Even I was affected by the group mentality, I was afraid to talk to him unless I had something mean to say because I thought everyone would start attacking me too. People who have never even met the kid had pre-determined ideas about him. The kid never talked to anyone, he was just a target for people. He wasn't all that bad really.
