http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2009/jun/18/criminal-trial-without-jury[^] You could be in this situation pretty soon. Once the internet czars start shutting down networks because good people are expressing their views about the government, you might find yourself being dragged away and convicted of dangerous speech.

In SA all trials are without juries. What do your peers know about law?

Over here, our peers are regular folks who have to obey the same laws as the rest of us so they are more qualified to make judgments on what the law should be and if someone is guilty or not. You see, this is not a country of the institutions, for the institutions, by the institutions (which consist of a handful of powerful people). This is our country (regular americans like me), we are not a bunch of slaves and sheep.

Of course not. The Georgia Guidestones are a monument to freedom and personal independence of thought.

Yeah. I'm not against people expressing their wishes for worldwide genocide and totalitarian control over mind and body, but acting it out is a threat to not only American values, but to humanity as a whole. We could have another Nazi Germany type era and in my opinion, that is something to be fought not endorsed.

So just how is one assured that his jury includes no sheeple? If he is a shee-person, surely a jury of his peers should be sheeple, swayed like grass in the wind by the sweet talking lawyers in charge of his life.

One isn't (in any area of life) ... and, in fact, both prosecution and defence work very hard to ensure that the jury is comprised of sheeple. But that's a problem with having let the lawyers take over.

Well, we let them take over that little bit more, so there are three neutral lawyers (judges) that take some serious convincing from the prosecution and defence as to the arguments that the accused is guilty or innocent.
