Good news - you can actually help yourself by searching the articles on this site. There are several ready-to-use classes for reading/writing Excel files.

I've used BasicExcel and it's fantastic: BasicExcel - A Class to Read and Write to Microsoft Excel[^] You might also want to try XLW[^].
