What does it matter? As a teenager in the UK, every crime is my fault. If I get time, I might post a rant about that in the grown-ups' area - it annoys me intensely, to say the least

Between the idea And the reality Between the motion And the act Falls the Shadow

He doesn't care about facts or reality as it is, he just wants to spin everything so you can't think about something anything seriously. He will spin your around in around in the same circle picking at you until you just give up on it. He does not care about the facts, he does not care about the point, all he wants to do is pick apart your thoughts until you have none. He want you to get caught up in endless tedium so you are mentally paralyzed. He doesn't give a shit about the point or anything else.

Tracey, I wouldn't read too much into that. Yes Britain does have a problem but these number are also flawed. The sources of the statistics are not the same. In the UK there is the National Crime Servey that should result in crimes being counted only once. Then there are the statistics provided by the police forces that will count each crime once per victim. That would result in your average senior prom having ten murders instead of one. ;)

Not only that, but many crimes that are recorded in UK would not be recorded in other countries as crimes, so distortion there as well. But then, what do I know, compared to Troy's amazing superior knowledge of little old England. :sigh:

Tracey is indeed more knowledgable on any given subject then anyone else. An eminent racontour. Maybe even a shining wit!

So the UK criminalizes the citizens more? Must be proud to be in the kingdom! God save the queen CCTV cameras that watch you wherever you go.

The definition and the given statistics are not "crime," but rather for "violent crime." For example, one bullet point is: "The UK has the second highest overall crime rate in the EU." -- that would be "crime," in contrast to the "violent crime" at which, according to the figures given, the UK excels. And I didn't supply it, the various governments did.

doesn't surprise me, based on the news I see ( although I know that's not impartial ). I was just looking for clarification.
