What is the best Low cost invoice printer for a small application to run at shop terminals?
-
Hi, I have an application which outputs a small sized bill report (invoice). For printing purpose, actually to deliver with products currently I'm using a Laser printer which require A4 size papers and all... I need to bring down the cost by using a small scale and low cost paper consuming printer since it's just a shop terminal. I have seen big supermarkets have such ones but they are not using normal PCs, but special embedded systems dedicated for that.So Anyone got smart idea for this one? please help me finding one. thanks in advance . i.e. :) :) Pasan Indeewara :) :)

If it's for receipts such as you normally get in a shop, you need a thermal receipt printer with a cutter - something like this[^].

BTW, in software, hope and pray is not a viable strategy. (Luc Pattyn)
Visual Basic is not used by normal people so we're not covering it here. (Uncyclopedia)
Why are you using VB6? Do you hate yourself? (Christian Graus) -
