The problem is, it goes around in circles, because when I have 98 on it I wanna use XP's features, and when XP is on.......well see stages 3-6. Ive recently been really impressed by XP's slideshow generator power toy. Soooooo usefull. its much easier than a powerpoint one, the only problem is that the autorun.inf the generator puts in doesnt work, I have to write my own and burn it on seperately. :mad:

Plus, most of my favorite old games, i.e. Worms Armageddon etc... wont work on XP without various config tweaks. Having said that, I have it installed on two machines over here purly because i payed for it and want to get my moneys worth. :(

The only serious prob I've had was when I first installed it my secondary HDD went (ie OS on C, everything else on D and D went). As it was only a year old at the time, and had loads of data on it, this was pretty annoying. I don't know a whole lot about this sort of thing, but did find out that XP for some reason kills some HDD controllers. I guess it shouldn't happen with any manufactured after the release of XP though. The following statement about your geekness is true.

That is probably the single most annoying thing. Sure.. some propriatary drivers will work both normally if you don't have the Digitally Signed ones things can go very messed up.
