Something Australians will NEVER be allowed to experience...

...because their masters wont permit them. Freedom[^]

Don't you eke out your days here complaining about your lack of freedom?

Sure but we still have one of the most important of all rights; the right to bear arms.

How is it important, if it hasn't given you any other freedoms ? Is it because you have a small penis and holding a gun makes you feel better ? I can't think of any other logical explanation.

Yeah yeah I know... People should give up their liberties for freedom, government taking away your rights is for your own good, less is more, nothing is real and truth is false, ignorance is strength, printed paper "money" is god, government and propaganda is the modern religion, guns = hitler, boil down your thoughts until nothing exists. I get it.

Did I ever say that ? If I think I should be allowed to own kiddie porn, does the state disagreeing prove that I am not free ?

This is your usual ignorant BS . I assume you are quoting a you tube video, It sounds impressive to you, but people with brains recognise empty rhetoric, none of this means anything because when pushed, you cannot prove that I've ever said any of these things.

No, it's not. But, having financial security beats not having it. I am looking to buy a third property, I own two outright already. I am torn between a townhouse I can rent out, and a good number of acres that I can run sheep on. My financial status gives me the ability to think about these things. How does that make me less free ? On the other hand, I give at least $300 a month to charity, and tend to be very generous with my time and money to friends. I brought back a suitcase of chocolates and a guitar for friends in Australia on my last US trip. I paid a $100 excess to get the guitar checked in as luggage, I will not tell my friend about it. I probably spent $400 as well as a sore back on various friends while I was there. I value friendship more than money. Don't confuse having a bit of money, with worshipping it. Being poor, I am sure you think about money a lot more than I do, another freedom I get from having money.

Someone is robbing your family, getting read to kill or fondle your children or something, are you going to have sex with him?

Of course you can't. It is beyond you. Power belongs in the hands of individuals, the power to be able to effectively protect yourself, your family, and your property from others is most important. Most importantly the power to put an end to a tyrant. The Declaration of Independence is a perfect example of why guns belong in the hands of the people. That is beyond your thinking capabilities I know. You are intellectually chained down by endless propaganda from birth. I know what you are thinking because I went through it too, I rose above it. I shot a gun for the first time when I was 9 years old. I know you feel threatened by that.

You are pre-programmed. You use textbook arguments that you learned, associating freedom with child molesting. Your cognitive capabilities are hijacked.

No, I just made a point that you can't grasp. EVERY free society still has some things it does not allow. That Australia as a country doesn't let people arm themselves, which contributes to the lack of gun deaths here, does not affect my day to day life in any way and therefore does not affect my freedom. The ban on kiddie porn and the age of consent are things that affect others but make my daughter more free, and less in danger. That others do not run around with guns, has the same effect for all of us.

No, I will beat the crap out of him and I'll feel more confident to do it b/c I know the odds of him having a gun are very, very small. Like your penis.
CaptainSeeSharp wrote:

This is an absolute illusion. Everyone can get guns in the US, so you are in MORE danger when you have to protect yourself from the individual who attacks you. Your guns are no protection at all if your government wants to take you away.
CaptainSeeSharp wrote:

No, that's just not true. Not even a little bit. It's part of your overall fantasy to think so.
CaptainSeeSharp wrote:

Not at all. I just feel amused that you are proud of it. For the record, I have no issue with guns. We have gun clubs, and people can have shooting for a hobby, farmers have a need to own guns, and so on. It's people who feel that a gun is for their protection and thus carry them around that are the issue. I have shot a gun before. I've thought about buying one, to cull roos with when they get to plague proportions. But, I've not got around to it. If I had one, i would not be so retarded as to think that this made me somehow more 'free'. I answered all of your points, so you just jumped to more empty rhetoric. Please do me the courtesy of wondering to yourself why it is that you had no answers to my responses to your accusations, and instead had to invent new ones ?

What astounds me is that you don't even have the intelligence to see that you rely on terminology you've learned from youtube to insult me, and to run and hide from having to think about, or respond to, the points I raise in response to you. Once again, I've proven every accusation you threw at me to be a lie, and you've had no comeback.
