I admit, I've thought that way in the past, so have you.

"The task of saving the earth's environment must and will become the central organizing principle of the post-Cold War world." Senator Al Gore Putting People First 1992 ------ "The sacrifice of personal existence is necessary to secure the preservation of the species." Adolph Hitler Mein Kampf 1923 ------ If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever." O'Brien to Winston George Orwell 1984 1949

I know from experience that I am smarter than most people, that doesn't mean I'd go around saying I am smart.

Wrong. I replied at length about the accusations you made to me, I explained how money makes me more free than a gun, but at the same time made clear that I don't love money for itself. I wrote a long reply, and you came back with 'less is more, let the government control you', a bunch of BS that ignored my reply and basically repeated your delusions. THAT is the pattern. I answer, you run and hide in your conspiracy theories.

No, its just that you can't intellectually rise above society itself and look at it from a greater perspective. You don't buy freedom, that is all there is to it. Simple as that.

Neither do I. I've noticed that people feel threatened if they think you are smart. Some people can get pretty nasty if you start using big words or talk about history or science.

No, I am not. I should sit in my window every day and night to watch people to shoot, in case they come to attack me ? That makes me free ? You're insane

See, once again, you betray your love of insane conspiracy theories. What you're doing is arguing with a straw man. You claim that you're called a terrorist for being 'free', 'liberated' and 'normal'. Your TV and radio does this all the time, it panders to the predisposed ideas of both left and right. All it does, is keep you ignorant, while providing a caricature of the opposing view that you feel superior for rejecting, when in fact, no-one holds the views you accuse them of. That you do this to me, shows you do it naturally, or you're just applying the caricature you got on talk back radio to me, because you're incapable of independent thought. I live a liberated life, more than you. I showed that earlier today, but you refused to answer. I am self suffient and self empowered, more than you. I would hope I am natural and normal, I am certainly independant. More than you. And of course, you have no reply, so you'll answer with some comment about welfare, or carbon credits. Anything to deflect from your once again plainfully clear inadequacies.

Yes, I did. I'm not saying that sort of thing cannot or does not happen. I am saying that in situations like that, where you are taken by surprise, you're still better off if someone is trying to bash you, than shoot you, and you would be no better off from owning a gun. In any case, I thought they were thinking that it was a murder/suicide, or that a family member was somehow involved ? The ability of a disgruntled teen to kill their family and themselves, as often happens in the US with guns, and I've never heard of happening here, is one more reason not to own a gun. Would you like to be CSS's dad and have a gun in the house ? Didn't think so.

This is BS. Rising above is a code word for ignoring my thought out reponses and responding with phrases you learned from you tube videos ? No, I have answered you and you have been incapable of meaningful reply. That is all.

You can't buy freedom, if you are truly enslaved. But, not having money, is it's own slavery. Not having a gun, is not a form of slavery. My only point was that I am more free than you, because I am not held back by poverty, while owning a gun does not give you any freedom whatsoever.

In the US children have to take shots or they can't go to school. It's the law.

Acting in ways that benefit your, regardless of how that behavior affects others. 2. The Omnipotence Fallacy: believing that your intelligence and education somehow make you all-powerful. 4. The Invulnerability Fallacy: believing that you can do whatever you want and that others will never be able to hurt you or expose you. Yeah, Christan Graus thinks he is so superior with his money and perceived intellect. Next time he calls for forced sterilization of Africans and people that aren't moneyed think of the four fallacies of "smart" people. http://sayitbetter.typepad.com/say_it_better/2008/12/why-smart-people-can-be-so-stupid.html[^]

If you go to books.google[^] and read further it actually, at least to me, reads like a self help book for improving yourself. I've not read it all, but it seems to kinda start that way.

Its called double-think. It is something you extensively participate in. The reason I don't reply to each of your points is that it is double-think, I am not going to go down the path of flip-flopping logic.

You can't buy freedom, if you are truly enslaved. But, not having money, is it's own slavery. Not having a gun, is not a form of slavery. My only point was that I am more free than you, because I am not held back by poverty, while owning a gun does not give you any freedom whatsoever.

You are lost man, you are all tied up in knots. I kind of feel sorry for you. It does take an expanded mind to grasp large concepts about life. You are stuck in your programmed little world. You are like an ant who cant see life outside the colony and its rules and predetermined set of function. With that said, your mind is owned and locked up by your government.

you lost me here, his argument seem to be logical and well stated, where do you get the double think? it would seem that you spend far too much time double thinking and not understanding the basics, and end up tying yourself in knots, he has asked fairly simple questions yet to seem unable to answer, maybe if you explaned why his questions are complecated and double thought we can revised the question, the problem being at the moment that we all seem to understand his question and could provide an answer, you seemingly cant, is it that the question is too complex? or your ability to understand is either very limited or at odds with our perceptions of reality?

No, his logic is faulty. It is incomplete and corrupt. I'm not going to go down that path because he will take it all the way down to weird shit like child molestation. Its ridiculous.
