G'day! I'm trying to share a folder with a large number of files, and it takes a long time. I assume it looks (and do something) at everything in that folder. Normal ? Thanks. M.

Yes I have noticed that too, with a folder containing some 3000 folders on XP32. My advice is to not explore a remote folder with lots of content; part of a solution is to move the large number of files down one folder level (so the map network drive that opens explorer on it hasn't much to show,l just one folder), AND to make sure you don't ever need the list of the large content in say an OpenFileDialog. :)
