Sunlight To Petrol (Ignore the random picture of a snail at the top of the page, no idea why it is there) Oh no, what are the goverments and 'evnironmentalists' going to do now :omg: ? I mean, they can't say we will run out of fuel now can they?

If everything was not true, would it be not true that everything is not true? So by saying everything is not true, you are automatically denying that everything is not true. Im so confused... FreeDOS - An open source modern MS-DOS/PC-DOS replacement.

Interesting concept, however unless they refine it substantially it will be a bit like alchemy - theoretically possible but so expensive you might as well just buy the gold in the first place!!

"although large-scale implementation could be a decade or more away." I won't hold my breath. There's lots of schemes like this, none of them scale. That big reflector they have, how quickly does it produce fuel ? If I put one in my backyard, would it meet the needs of my car ? My street ? My suburb ?

I was more interested in the Diesel Tree, supposedly an acre (of mature trees) would produce enough for a family to run their vehicles for the year... Didn't pan out though.

Well I don't really know how good it is actually, but I have seen a video on the BBC where the scientists who made it put a sausage on a long pole in front of it. The sausage then ignited and sort of disentergrated almost straight away... I mean, if it doesnt make enough petrol you could use it as an extreme barbecue
