Email verification not validation

Dear Software Developer, i wanna check email address that is it exist or not? any idea or link... Shafik
I don't think that would be possible, you would have to be able to search lists of emails for every domain and I'm sure that would be some sort of data protection breech. I would guess the only way is to send the email and see if you get one back saying its not a valid email... not great thou

This is no relaible way to do this. If you doing some form of account activation, is it is normal to send an e-mail to the user asking them to confirm their account.

Look this, http://forums.asp.net/t/1130142.aspx[^] If you are doing any user activation process just send mail to the user's mailbox and activate him after opening that link. :)
