We could chat about how president Obama doesn't know what a tax is. Mr. Obama: "No, but—but, George, you—you can't just make up that language and decide that that's called a tax increase." "I don't think I'm making it up," Mr. Stephanopoulos said. He then had the temerity to challenge the Philologist in Chief, with an assist from Merriam-Webster. He cited that dictionary's definition of "tax"—"a charge, usually of money, imposed by authority on persons or property for public purposes."[^]

It's tough, walking on the edge of a razor. Paul Krugman commented that Obama has repeatedly shown a powerful aversion to saying anything that might sound like populist anger. At the same time, he's trying to (through proxies) rally support for populist policies. The result is that he backs himself into rhetorical corners. If he really intends to do the job he was voted in to do, at some point he's going to have to drop the kid gloves, leave the ivory tower and get his hands dirty in real politics. And if he doesn't, if he continues to waffle and cut the legs out from under the people who voted him into office, he might just find he's a one-term president, and the Republicans will rise from the ashes. He doesn't seem to have the balls to really take on his opponents.

Hey, he may be a hothead, but I don't think he's bright enough to be associated with fire. It's mostly just hot air.

He could probably be persuaded to torch a fart.

You measure democracy by the freedom it gives its dissidents, not the freedom it gives its assimilated conformists.

I agree. I wish he'd get on with it. Just tell those on both parties where to stick it and tell the people what his vision is and let us tell our Congressmen what they should do. I guess that's asking too much.

Well, it sure is quiet. I am almost scared to post, in case I wake up the retards again. You'd do better to join the Soapbox 1.0, where there is intelligent conversation. This place is good for a laugh at those less fortunate than yourself, but that's pretty much it.

Everyone understands why a person like you Christan, would think it is okay for a small group of unelected self-perpetuated bankers to rule over governments. If you really cared about people, you wouldn't want people to be forcibly sterilized and you wouldn't want to forcibly abort woman's children. Even a criminal has some moral principles. Don't you even care about the suffering that your worldview causes? A person who blatantly disregards humanity for his own selfish satisfaction is purely sickening. Why don't you ever admit you are a nasty vile creature and change your ways? Some people would lynch you if you spewed out your powermad eugenics beliefs.

There seems to be a bug on the site. The same ignorant, ill informed and plain retarded posts from CSS seen to be being made over and over again. You are the worst kind of moron. You actually seem to think that telling these lies about me, eventually causes them to become true.

It's been raining heavily, which is great, everything is growing at an unusual pace. Sydney was bad, they had a huge dust storm while I was there.
