Deleting Posts Sucks big time. People start a thread and then when they get flamed a bit they delete their post. This is almost as bad as reposting or crossposting. I think this should be called del-posting for short. Any opinions ? Regardz Colin J Davies

You are the intrepid one, always willing to leap into the fray! A serious character flaw, I might add, but entertaining. Said by Roger Wright about me.

Agreed;P. I believe it would be entertaining to list them, and especially figure out why they did so.

:-D Deleting posts may be acceptable if for some reason. But the reasons should be obvious or stated clearly by the posts' owner. :) this is my signature for forums quoted from shog*9: I can't help but feel, somewhere deep within that withered, bitter, scheming person, there is a small child, frightened, looking a way out.

I agree with you. It's like cutting away pieces from a movie.. it sucks! We should say NO to censoring. -- Please state the nature of your medical emergency.

That makes the flamers look like idiots, a much more acceptable outcome. The trick, of course, is to rewrite it in such a way as to make the Subject line still make sense, but to entirely change the original meaning. Using a subject like 'Gay-bashing' and posting a thoroughly homophobic tirade is sure to generate a few sparks. Then you can come back later and rewrite it as a tribute to the joys of alternate lifestyles and rant about the terrible crime against humanity that gay-bashing represents. Not that I'd ever do such a thing....:-D Word of the day: Rotundacrat

Yes Post modifying is a totally different skill set. What is bugging me is headless posts. Regardz Colin J Davies
