    According to the Got Mercury website, a single server of swordfish contains close to four times the EPA's limit of safe weekly intake of mercury. That means you can eat fish once a month. According to this[^], babies who have had all their vaccines are found to still be below that limit for mercury. I assume CSS claims there is 'no safe level' of mercury, and ignoring the bad science behind that, the question becomes, is his you tubing tribe of conspiracy nuts being distracted by vaccinations, when the truth is that their fish dinner is giving them autism ?

      Never eaten swordfish, but it is on my list of foodstuffs to try, but, I might never be able to. It is one of the Mediterranean's most vulnerable species.

        I've tried it once, before I knew that. It's not that nice. I like to eat farmed salmon.

          I've eaten it many times and always found it quite delicious. However, this was mostly back in the 70s in Turkey, so I suspect nobody knew (or cared) how much mercury was in it. Anyway I don't think I caught autism from it. :^)

            Back in them days, and earlier, food tasted like it supposed to. None of this chicken flavoured cardboard that is so fashionable now. :(

            How could you tell? Did you have a CSS authenticated test? :laugh:

              Something like this, perhaps?

              public bool Autistic
              {
              get
              {
              return (from Experience ex in this.Experiences
              where ex.Contains(Experience.Mercury) || ex.Contains(Experience.Vaccine)
              select ex).Count() != 0;
              }
              }

                  I've had it before. It was OK, but at the point of paying as much as I would for a nice beef steak I'd rather be eating red meat.

                    Mercury will still damage a developed mind. The first emperor of china thought eating mercury would make him live forever. Ever eating mercury in his food for a while he became so mentally screwed up that he couldn't even walk by himself anymore. His mind was of a deranged 2 year old. SO keep eating and and injecting it into your bloodstream, moron.

                      I don't dispute that fact, I was just making a light-hearted point about eating swordfish.

                      I have never injected mercury into my bloodstream, beyond any miniscule amounts that may exist in certain vaccines.

                        You are such an idiot. Can't you tell the difference between heresay and fact ? Assuming that the emperor of China really did do this, what does it prove ? No-one here denied that too much mercury is harmful. Bleeding for too long will kill you. That doesn't mean you'll die if you prick your finger.

                            Wow - new insults that aren't even a twisting of things I've said, but pure fantasy and invention. Does this prove that 1 - you're right, and have a better grasp of the facts than me 2 - you're somehow just morally superior in general 3 - you're trailer trash and when you're cornered by your attempts at pseudo intellectualism, you come out calling people names because you're angry, not at us, but at yourself for being unable to defend your ludicrous point of view, your insane theories and your ridiculous statements ? Bonus points for identifying your mental illness. If you can't, I'm still willing to pay for someone to identify it and a course of treatment for you.
