I did do that. How about you? I never bombed a home, shot a civilian nor did anything that would be called less than honorable. My integrity is MUCH better than someone who uses a list of "30k+ scientists" and doesn't even have the balls to look up the info and find out an EFFING DENTIST is on that list. What kind of person believes a group to have ANY integrity when they count a dentist as someone that has ANY right to chime in on climate change? The basis of them being scientist is having a BS in science. That means every programmer with a BS in Com Sci could sign a petition saying they believe in global warming and it would be JUST AS VALID. So please, don't talk to me about integrity or honor. You just showed you have none thinking that petition can validate your position. Which one of us can't even bother reading or seeing the info the other presents and instead resorts to calling themselves "all that is good and right" and can't even stand by their own words when quoted on it?!

The facts are available without recourse to the IPCC. If you actually studied the subject - perhaps read what scientists who deny AGW have written - you would know where to find them. Stop posting on matters about which you are ignorant. Oh. You would have to stop posting altogether.

No it is not. Strawman again. Do you like it when Business executives tell you how to code? Do they know all the ins and outs of using classes, methods and OO programming? The answer is probably "no." So where do you come from telling scientists that their methods, systems and data is made up or just plain wrong? Some laymen gets their hands on info that uses profession specific jargon and decides the term "trick" means the literal meaning of the word. And you don't question that? Cause if someone read my correspondence to another programmer I obviously mean that I should use 20+ school kids to perform a function in my program, right? Cause that is a class... I know someone in a related field. The trick is, in fact, just showing the numbers in an easy to see manned. Because laymen are idiots and need everything plotted out for them. And the whole thing with the rings was because the data stopped working right after that point. It becomes unreliable. So they drop it completely after that point. Why is it unreliable? No clue, but rather than keep faulty data, they ditch it. How do they know it is faulty? They have other data that has been verified and shown to be correct. So you make up a position for him, don't bother reading the data and explain away your easy to defeat position. That's Number 2 today.

Which scientists are those? The 9000 phds that signed that petition, many of whom have nothing to do with climate research? I have read what they have said. It amounts to "we don't have concrete proof of it, so it must not be real" Problem with this is that when you do nothing about something that may make the environment unsustainable in the near (global scale) future, you are basically saying "EFF YOU KIDS!" and passing off the responsibility. I'd rather err on the side of caution, make small changes that do a little to help and see if everyone doing that is enough to make sure my kid's grandkids don't wonder what a blue sky looks like from the pollution (and considering what major cities look like, I am not really that far off) choking out the color. Far too many people are willing to turn a blind eye to being responsible for your messes. I don't care if it isn't true, if our changes do enough to make it so my kid isn't dealing with major pollution I will be happy.

There are climatologists who do not accept that AGW is proven. There are mathematicians and statisticians who reject the AGW methodology. I am not a climatologist, mathematician, or statistician and cannot comment. I am not an AGW Believer or an AGW Denier. Like you, I want pollution reduced drastically, and, consequently, alternatives to fossil fuels adopted. If that reduces man-made CO2 (which it should), fine. And if that reduces the degree of climate change, fine. But climate change will still take place: cooler, warmer, does it matter? We will adapt.

You know that bit where I point out you're completely full of shit by pulling facts together and you never respond. I can point out a few from the last couple weeks if you like. Have you considered trying it? Assembling the facts(actual, honest, FACTS) and trying to prove that it's real, rather than spouting off how we're sheep and Alex Jones is right. It's far more effective, especially when you are proposing things which appear to be remarkably stupid. Another note, I live in NY, today is the first day I've had to brush off my car, I'm generally taking a shovel to dig my car out by this time. I'm not terribly unhappy about it, but it does scream something is going screwy.

As much as it pains me, and I'm no expert on the subject so correct me if I'm wrong, but I might have to agree about the fluoride in the drinking water thing.:~ Someone please show me some scientific study (from the last 20 years) that shows that putting fluoride in drinking water actually helps peoples teeth. I don't mean a study that shows fluoride helps teeth, but one that says putting it in drinking water helps teeth. Anybody? There seem to be A LOT of potential problems that can come from fluoride in our drinking water, not just for us but for the environment and only 1 good thing (if it does in fact do any good). And no I'm not basing this off the link he gave, but off several websites I've seen and a few news shows I've seen discussing it. I am a little ignorant in this issue so somebody please educate me.:confused:
