The point of the ad is entirely that in a world where being green is enforced by the police, Audi drivers would be safe. It plays right into CSSs paranoias, because he would totally miss the joke.

Did you think it was a documentary? Or, did you see it as the humorous, satirical commercial that it was? Yet again, regardless of summary, you post a link purely to get other people to comment. Get on with the Path finding algorithm, some of us are genuinely keen to read up on it.

Humor? The ad itself was retarded. If they were shooting for humor they failed. For me it ranks right up there with the Aflac duck or the Geiko cavemen. If these ads actually reach the advertisers target market I'm happy to not count myself in their ranks.

well, their target market is obviously people who worry about things like using plastic. They ARE trying to sell a green car.

We especially liked how it ended. Visions of cops just breaking that guy in half were too vivid. Ian: Bunch of eco-nazis (yes, Godwin invoking here, but no other term really works) busting people for not being "green enough" and it was pretty satirical. Helicoptors doing overflights watching for a guy throwing orange peels in the disposal instead of possibly using it for compost, etc.. They have a traffic stop and see the car is bio-diesal and let it go through all happily. Since it is so green friendly. At the end they are asking cops if their coffee cup is styrofoam and to please step out of the car... Think a modest proposal but in eco-friendly terms for how ludicrous it was.
Sounds moderately entertaining, for a commercial. Obviously Audi are the militant wing of the salvation army, which is but a tiny offshoot of the CIA-sponsored Federal Reserve Assassination Squad, headed by first-rank ninja Bernakesan. Is that CSS enough for this thread? Man... I remember when that acronym meant "Cascading Style Sheets"... How low we've sunk.

we used to have an A4 and it was a great car. Now we've got a VW Passat TDI, another great car. The Germans know a thing or two
