Ron Paul Addresses CPAC
-
Part One[^] Part Two[^] Part Three[^] I like how it starts out. The introductory guy turns around and shows his End the Fed shirt, and the whole crowed goes wild and starts shouting "END THE FED!" Then the stupid liberal/neocon bitch starts to panic because the of the slave revolt.

I was so happy. I saw that speech live on CSPAN, and I was so happy that everytime Paul had something to say there was a crowd cheering. Of course, they are fanatic supporters of him as am I, but nobody stopped them, which was a miracle in and of itself. In the straw poll at CPAC, Paul won with 31%. That was a miracle as well, but the revolution is alive and well of course.

When I see an obscure heavy metal band live, there's always a crowd cheering. But they make no difference to the mainstream.

You vote for them, we'll keep setting them up. If we can't control you that way, there's always war or dictatorship. Power to the people? Since when? Enjoy your revolution. As for CPAC: And when I search that faceless crowd; A swirling mass of grey and black and white; They don't look real to me; Oh don't they look so strange?

I have no idea what you mean by that. But all I was saying is that you don't have to be spiteful ("It'll never catch on with shit music"). Just sayin'.

If you think that was meant in a spiteful way then it's really no surprise you see a conspiracy wherever you look. Last night I read a pamphlet this Ron Paul guy wrote in the early 80's about the need for a gold currency and the danger of centralized banking. Where is the global unrest and turmoil he promised? It's been 30 years

True. But with the debt and the value being lost in the dollar, I'd say it's coming. People are listening to him, people have been going his way over the past two or three years. Personally, I just started listening to him two years ago. I was in college prior to that, in my own world.

I'm sorry I didn't take that as a joke, my bad. And no, I don't see a conspiracy everywhere I look... I don't really pay attention to the global warming debate (though I'm pretty sure we don't have such a thing). I'm just sayin'.

No a few listen while the majority will continue to milk the system for all they can. The few who 'believe' will always want to think they will be proved right in time but I can guarantee you 'it' wont happen in the next 30 years just like 'it' didnt happen in the last 30 despite the crash of '87, failure of most Asian economies in the late 90's, the tech stock debacle of the early 2000's and the recent GFC.

Just because I don't believe we have global warming doesn't mean I believe everyone at the top of the debate believing it is part of a conspiracy. Notice my lack of input in the thread after this, in which the topic is global warming. I just don't know, I don't have facts. Just saying. Though it seems that you like to label me, as did many others prior to you. Just saying.

But you said you dont pay attention to the debate. So what is your opinion based on if not facts and research? Can you see how this would make me question your other beliefs?
Josh Gray wrote:

It's not based on a heck of a lot except hearsay, hence I say my position is a belief. That's why I don't contribute to the debate: I have nothing to contribute.

Absolutely. That's why I stay out of it. What the hell do you want me to say?! If I'm not interested in the global warming debate, I stay out of it. If I don't like to play hockey, I stay out of it. Do you see how this makes my position null? I sure do. I don't contribute. Do you still have a problem with my non-contribution stance? My lack of argument? I have a position, but it's not a valid one. I stay out of it. Any other arguments against me?
