Rajendra Pachauri, the controversial Chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is to face an international inquiry into the performance of his organisation[^] Shame really, its the IPCC thats at fault not Pachuri. Hes only had the job 18 months and the problems of poor peer review are institutional. Its probably the fact he has taken to writing soft porn thats finally done it for him. --edit-- Why does Pachuri remind me so much of the judges on the orignal PLanet of the Apes?

The picture of him is great. Who in their right mind would hire a scientist that looks like that. He definitely brings new meaning to "Mad Scientist". Emmett Lathrop "Doc" Brown would have done a much better job. :)

He isnt a scientist even! He is an engineer, he worked on the trains, ans a business man. He is heavially invilved/or chairman, of TATA, the companty that bought Britich Steel (Corous) and then closed it having taken millions in carbon credits off the British in otder to continue steel production. Very, very iffy. As the saying goes, follow the money.
