Hi How to use windows explorer style application with tree view in left view ans dialog windows in right view. Upon clicking the items in tree view , a dialog need to appear in right window I m bugged of this. Can Anyone help me to find a way out ... regards gany

I did a quick search, and found these two articles that seem perfect for you... Switching to other views in a doc-view application[^] and Replacing a view in a doc-view application[^] If you want a dialog based view, just inherit from CFormView. This is assuming doc/view architetcture. If it's pure dialogs stuff, then you can adapt the second article with CDialog objects instead. Good luck, Iain.

Can you please elaborate, like which IDE you are using. because if you are using MS-VS 2006 or higher , then I guess there is one tool.
