Alex Jones undertakes a psychological experiment that proves dangerous in more than one sense. While the public is caught up in the hype and promotion of the new iPad, it is clear once again that technology has captured our humanity– our worth has been caught up in baubles, and we are dangerously close to caring more about our gadgets than our family and neighbors. With this in mind, Alex daringly “tortures” the new toy being pushed by corporate elite to control the masses. He attempts to find out– or at least raise the question– as to whether humanity will concern itself with more with the senseless destruction of a computer than it does with the torture and senseless killing of more than a million Iraqis (to put forward one example) along with countless others across the globe.[^]

Sorry, I had to turn it off after 1 min - people were being tortured. Uncle Al states that we have become desensitised by exposure to images of torture and killing (whilst showing yet more images of torture - how's that for hypocrisy?). But one would have to be insensitive in the first place to choose to view such images. Constant viewing serves merely to reinforce an existing personality flaw. One such seriously flawed personality posted "The killing starts at 2m50s"[^] on this very forum. BTW: I hope no money was paid to the 'corporate elite' in obtaining the iPad.

How many? What percentage? Who carried out the research? How were the experiments constructed?

But why do you care? they can't afford health care or the gadgets, so they don't deserve them!!! why should we worry now about it? this is a socialist way to see things, you're becoming very socialist, finally the conspiracy from the government to take over your thoughts is happening. And also, where are the results of the research?, how was it done?, who participated in it?, we need real scientific data to believe whatever you say... FACTS... And again, you fail... how does it feel to be full of fail in everything you do? you're nothing more than a socialist zombie.

There is a difference between charity and theft. On the healthcare by the way, forcing everyone to buy healthinsurence from the big corporations (premiums will increase, not decrease) and then cutting everyone's care is so liberal.

and still you haven't answered, why do you care about people caring more for an iPad, isn't this what you support? what you believe? free market, and the government is supporting it giving the big corporations more customers, its capitalism!! or you want free health care? socialist way to do things, isn't socialism bad? Are you a liberal? because the description you just gave for them is like a picture of you, with your ideas you're racist, fascist, authoritarian and hateful, didn't you called me names, like monkey and I don't know what else? you hate me for not thinking like you, when you come here you're authoritarian when trying to give out your ideas, it's only one way, your way... so you're liberal right?

I want to die like my grandfather- asleep, not like the passengers in his car, screaming!

There is a difference between charity and theft. On the healthcare by the way, forcing everyone to buy healthinsurence from the big corporations (premiums will increase, not decrease) and then cutting everyone's care is so liberal.

There's a difference between being a contributing member of society and a damn leech, and the barrier isn't based on how much money you make. And for the note, I still back the public option, the bit that annoys me the most is that there isn't one. But hey, that's socialism right?

wait, didn't the liberals want free health care for the citizens and compromised with the conservatives who were screaming "communists" and made the health insurance thing? Liberals tend to be the guys that are all PC. Obviously racist and hateful. Liberals want to let gay people marry. Obviously authoritarian, letting people do what they want... Liberals want to rein in corporations. Facists have corps ruling government... Good News everyone! Black is white, up is down, and anyone that argues with CSS is arguing with god.
