A thread in the Poll results discussion made me curious: What's your favourite TV show(s)??? And: where are you from?? My personal Addictions (avail internationally): Ally, Picket Fences.

Hmmm, what do I actually look forward to seeing on the tube... Current line-up: Will try to be home to watch Andromeda. Pretty lame so far, but I'm such a trash sci-fi junkie that I'll wait it out to see if Hercules can actually do space. I will stop channel surfing if I run into Ally, but I don't actually know when it's on. Star Trek at any time. If I happen to find it on the tube at any time of the day or night, I'm glued. I was watching the occasional Lost World episode, but my wife was giving me dirty looks, and even watching Jennifer O'Dell run around in a thong gets boring after a while (you wouldn't watch that show for a plot, trust me) Hey Chris, are you a big Neighbours fan? :)

I apologise, from the bottom of my heart, to all those who have had neighbours dumped upon their screens. Oh man - bad 80's flashbacks... Current watches: X-files and Simpsons - the bread and butter of TV. There was a brilliant show called The Games back home which I think everyone who ever watched the Olympics and enjoyed it should watch. Lately though it's been a bit of a Buffy and Angel fest - mainly because I can never work out this new fangled 'cable' thing you guys have got going here, but mainly because, well, just becuase ;P I'm also strangely hypnotised by the Weather Network. I can't explain it. Maybe it's the music... cheers, Chris Maunder

I'm from Los Angeles. (Weather forecast: sunny and 80 degrees. Doesn't matter what time of year it is. Sunny and 80. :) ) Anyway, my current faves are Buffy, Angel, Dark Angel when I remember to tape it (it's on at the same time as Angel), Whose Line is it Anyway?, Once & Again, 7 Days, Felicity (last season was boring, but so far this season is good), and Smack!Down. I haven't really enjoyed Ally since the first season. :( Well, except for that Ally-Ling kiss. That was pretty sweet. :-o --Mike-- http://home.inreach.com/mdunn/

Chris, I hate to tell you, but the Weather Network is a cheap Canadian rip off of the the Weather Channel in the U.S. It's a little hard to explain, but our government is trying to "protect" our cultural interests (which I think is truly of benefit), but they are doing it in some strange ways. One clear example is banning the weather channel in favo(u)r of the weather network. Ah well, I guess we still have some free trade issues to work out. David

Personally, I miss SeaQuest dearly. I live in the U.S. (Oregon), and if they're still showing it here, the networks aren't promoting it because I haven't heard of it being on for a couple of years. Oh Well.

Dave, The Weather Network may be a cheap rip off, but it sure has some nice eye candy.

Hold on a sec guys - how far are we behind is the UK - I don't think that's happened yet, though I missed a few. I don't follow Ally that madly anyway - I'm more of a Buffy & Simpsons man myself - though the Buffy series is also way behind America and places. We've just had the one where Oz runs away after he meets the female werewolf - I'm sure you've all seen it :-), Andrew.

Yep, that's the one. It was cool because even though it was a sci-fi show, it was still grounded in some level of reality. After the show, they'd have some guy talk about how technologies used on the episode are related to technologies that exist today. Very cool, in my humble opinion.

Let me explain... WWF is the worst case of C grade acting I have ever seen. What is even worse is the number of people who actually beleive it's real !! If someone jumped on your back like that and meant it you would be in hospital :-( It's just plain pathetic !!
