True plus he was already quite an old man when he took that role. It'd be worth getting alot of Tom Baker, some Davison, various Dalek sagas and regeneration episodes. Fifth Doctor series was noted for destroying the sonic screwdriver because the producer considered it too deus ex machina for writers. Six was...well...a git. I liked Seven. He started off fairly quirky but evolved into a far more machiavellian character who still wouldn't resort to violence. Best quote from him when fighting The Master on a planet where things would be overcome with violent tendencies was "If we fight like animals then we die like animals!". Also he managed to get a couple of foes to suicide themselves through logic. I left sorry for Eight. He would've been good in an expanded series I suspect but the original pilot let him down trying to pander to everyone. Nine seemed to be suffering from a bipolar disorder brought about by post traumatic stress disorder maybe.

5th Dr. had the unfortunate distinction of being after Baker and losing the screwdriver. They also had him destroy the scarf in the first episode. I know I screamed when I saw that happening. First time I ever got up and walked out on a TV show from anger. (I was like 7) Six, was Tom Baker's son.... Ego twice the size of his father and it showed. 7 and 8...I just never got to see much of them. Nine should have been 2 seasons. He was a nice presence. And the PTSD was major. I think he was the one that ended the war, completely and utterly ruining his ability to feel true joy. He had fun, but until Rose helped him he was just doing what he thought was needed, and not doing it for fun. Agree on the Davidson/Baker stuff. There is a mini-arc with Baker where he is bouncing around trying to find parts to some device. Some of the best stories ever. I think Romana is introduced in this arc.

If I have accidentally said something witty, smart, or correct, it is purely by mistake and I apologize for it.

What are you doing asking a question like this? You and your dishonorable Don't Ask Don't Tell buddies don't need to hide it anymore. Obama likes gay men in the military.

Oh and Ten should not be watched if you have a significant other. It's fine when your partner says she likes him. It's fine when she says he's sexy. It's a bit creepy but still ok when she asks you to dress like him. It's crossed the line when she suggests stalking him.

what if you are the one doing those things? Hypothetically speaking, of course. David Tennant is actually worse when he's not the Dr. for the wife. His actual accent makes her melt.

most likely. Saw it when it first aired on Public TV in America, sometime in the 80s. I remember him being teleported around during this without his Tardis.

Fortunately mine's Scottish so she's pretty immune to Bathgate accents. It also means I have to put up with her putting on various accents from around the Highlands X|

This is a negative? I suppose that an American accent sounds exotic there. Now if she's a redhead, I might have to kick you or something.

You should have. Filthy inuendo is nothing to shy away from . I always recall Connery as Bond saying, when asked if he liked blondes: "If the collar and cuffs match". And this can be heard on a sunday afternoon! (I believe its Thunderball)

The original point of this post was to find out what hair color is preferred. Since you seem incapable of putting something useful in here, I will mark you down as "gerbil colored." If this is not your favorite hair color, please feel free to correct me. If you respond with anything other than the hair color, we will all assume gerbil is it and I know I will make sure to remind you every time you post.

My country is know as a "pile of rubble"??? Wow, I must have skipped geography class that day. I'm not even near the top of my country, I know your knowledge of the real world is really small, but believe me, there is a lot more to work for. But, let me play with you and say that I'm in near the top of my country... you are at the bottom of yours, and apparently you are happy with that. I never said there's no problems in my country, or that my job is infinite or 100% secure, what I'm saying is that right now (and for the last 7 years) I HAVE A JOB, you little social leech...

Man... A gerbil, of all things... Now I have a certain Stephen Lynch song stuck in my head, and a whole new mental image of CSS.

So you get to stand near the top of a pile of rubble known as your country. As long as you have a job everything is alright then. No need to worry about current events, your job is infinite and 100% secure.

There's a reason the average American is looked at like an idiot. They generally believe crap like this. I move we toss CSS into a real cesspit and see if he still compares places people live to one.
