Does seem quieter than usual. Should be all the US crowd active at this time.

I'll switch off the light when I go, in a minute or so. Not sure where the US crowd went...

I am having major trouble getting any www.codeproject.com page to load; the main page loads fine (visible in "view source") but nothing shows, as if some essential dependent file is not coming at all. CP Vanity is not getting Bob's image. However beta.codeproject.com is working normally, which enables me to publish this. Anybody getting similar phenomena? :)

yes, no problem. Looks very much like the beta home page. I managed to log in. Are you in lots of parallel universes?? :)

I have gone from gold to silver in Organiser. I presume this is a function of the reorganisation of voting weights. If so, how does that work now?

Without digging into the data, my first guess would be that a lot of the edits or votes may have been on items that have since been deleted. [Edit] Do you tend to click "accept answer" a fair bit? [Edit] Looks like it was some reporting data that went missing (Bad articles, Q & A's, and messages). Will re-add them.

?? Organizer rep is either voting up (it seems unlikely those items got massively removed), or reporting articles/messages. Are you saying that, once the targets get removed, those report points get disposed of on the next recalculation? If so, it seems logical not to reward the reporting at all... :)

for s.codeproject.com I got served by Web20 and Web24 for www.codeproject.com I got served by Web20, Web21, and Web23 (tried both URL about 10 times). Not sure what I'm supposed to see/test/prove though. :)

It means you can see those domains, so it means you are probably not having problems with some content missing. I've split some of the content between www and s in order to allow browsers to open more connections than normal, meaning more downloads in parallel, meaning a faster response.

OK. After power-cycling my PC and modem, and reconnecting to ADSL, everything looked normal again. Nothing major, getting access to all sites but one was a first, I didn't quite understand what could have gone wrong. Cheers. PS: I'll switch off the lights now... :)

It doesn't seem right to me that you *lose* Organizer points when the things you've been "organizing" have been deleted.

"The staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - J. Jystad, 2001Part of the issue is that we're trying to back-date events on a system not designed to fully store all the information we might have needed. I did find one place where deleted items, in rare circumstances, may have failed to provide rep points on a recalc. The main issue I found, though, was in one place we may not be picking up reports on bad articles. An easy fix for this.

I assume the recalc from yesterday is now done, but as a result, I lost something like 1000 (or more) organizer points. I was silver before (approaching gold), now I'm bronze.
