Someone post something interesting and controversial... I need this day to (seem to) pass more quickly.

Proud to have finally moved to the A-Ark. Which one are you in?

Yes, but WHO is out to get us? My money's on the Tea Party. I think they're the heralds of the New World Order, trying to brainwash us into thinking they promote freedom, while they're in fact setting us up for THEIR form of slavery, which they'll just advertise as being better than the OTHER kind of slavery. Wouldn't that be deliciously ironic?

I've got something I don't really have a title for. For the believers and unbelievers out there, which is better, an honest atheist or a false believer? By honest atheist I mean someone who simply does not believe in any given faith and senses no truth in it, probably rolling agnostic into there just for simplicity's sake. By false believer I mean exactly that, someone who just pretends to believe despite having no real conviction for the matter. I've got my own opinion on this, and an interesting case or two of it, but I also have an hour long meeting that I should have left for five minutes ago...

What does better mean? I would rather deal with a truthful [anything] than a lying [anything]. The problem is in the knowing. I have enough questions about my own faith, 24/7, that I don't question others'. But it gets pretty obvious when someone is using their 'faith', even if it is true. I look for people who are honest, the rest is between them and God. I'm not trying to convert people when I argue here. Winning an argument is the worst way to convert someone. I just enjoy arguing, and when I see something wrong, I jump on it. That's how I ended up marrying my ex. :-O
