Bilderberg fact and/or fiction WGAD

The simple fact that the people 'blowing the whistle' on these guys are not dead is, I think, proof enough that there is no shadow government doing unspeakable evil.

I have been aware of Bilderberg since the 60s. There was some conspiracy theory stuff, but in those days you had to be able to read and understand more than 2 consecutive sentences to access it. No sound bytes to parrot. Anyway, being a 'Bilderberger' did not save Conrad Black from a prison sentence of 6½ years. So much for being an all-powerful world government.

Well, from what I see, you're the one both fear mongering, and attacking their right to private free speech.

BTW: Why haven't "the most powerful people in the world" been able to set up something a little less public, a little less "makeshift"? I mean, given the current state of communications technology.
They were able to back in the days before then interent when all news was delivered through radio, TV, and newspaper. With the development of the internet and multimedia communications the averate person has been able to capture information and publish it, getting thousands or even hundreds of millions of hits. That is why they are cracking down on the interent with their fear-mongering cybersecurity garabage and other attacks on free speech.

His point was they could all easily run the world through a fairly simple and easy to secure network that you wouldn't even have reason to suspect exists. Instead they goof off at a meeting with protesters outside. It's a bit comic book super villain to me.

Meh. You can say "well this and that..." but it doesn't change the facts. Bilderberg exists, they are a group of the most powerful people in the world, they get together to discuss global issues and have dinner and golf, and try to come to a consensus on a new war or what to do with the euro.

and your problem is that you cannot tell one from other anybody can do this for example CSS is a failed human being who lives with his mum (there is your factual statement) and molests children and dogs whilst high on drugs see how easy it is
You cant outrun the world, but there is no harm in getting a head start

True.

"Some of" the most powerful people, but true.

Speculation - You have no idea what they're discussing.

Speculation - You have no idea what they're doing. I would tend to agree with this part of your statement, but that doesn't make it a fact.

Speculation - You have no idea what they're doing. The article said they're "concerned" about it, but then, a lot of people are concerned about the state of the global economy. So looks like you're 2 for 6 so far, or about 33%... Not a good ratio of truth to speculation.

Powerful people networking and disscussing things where they don't have to deal with hysterical idiots. I fail to see the horrible danger here, but feel free to detail all of the wars they've started. From what I've been seeing it's been an international I have the biggest penis competition based on how many random countries can be invaded. At least for the last decade.

The problem with this is simple. If this situation was the truth, they're morons of the highest caliber. 1: When making a group designed to be a shadow government, you don't let everyone know the name of the organization. If everyone's watching what you do, you can't really do anything without too much scrutiny. 2: When discussing how to run THE FREAKING WORLD you do it over secure communications, in a poorly lit environment, and in secret. Using backlighting is encouraged to only allow others to see a silhouette. At the very least with modern tech you can get some very well encrypted secure video conferences and have the meetings at home, in a basement with some antiques and very dark and mysterious ambiance. 3: Golf with protesters is so last century. Come on, they can afford the super spy stuff. They should be golfing on volcanic islands away from civilization while sipping mojitos and torturing NSA agents.
If I have accidentally said something witty, smart, or correct, it is purely by mistake and I apologize for it.

I'd like to see you try, kid. It would be almost humorous. You talk a big talk, but when it comes down to it you are nothing but a coward. You sit at your computer looking up conspiracies but don't actually do anything to try and stop them. Posting this stuff isn't helping any. You aren't getting info to anyone that wouldn't be able to look the stuf up by themselves, almost everyone able to hit the backroom is smart enough to find the sites you link to on their own. You talk about people doing things to stop these organizations, but you won't do anything yourself. When asked you give a cowards excuse as to why. You talk about how you hate the military, how they are not working for the people, but in a situation that the military was founded to deal with (an invasion) you would not join it, not resist, and not lift a finger. You are more than willing to enjoy the benefits of our society, but refuse to accept the responsibilities that go with them. Enjoy your life as a loser that mooches off of people and talks big on a board but that would never actually back up his talk in person and would likely run like a chicken if called on it.
If I have accidentally said something witty, smart, or correct, it is purely by mistake and I apologize for it.

Wha? I've known about these guys since I was knee high, granted that still gives them decades since their founding before I found out, but still, when a kid with a mild interest in conspiracy theories can find out about your group, you're hardly secret. It's more along the lines of a private club, kinda like the Masons. And before you start, I know at least one anarchist who 'infiltrated'(by which I mean he joined because they're desperate for new members) the masons and became remarkably bored when he hit the truth of the organization.

But you dismissed it as a conspiracy theory no doubt. Now that its out in the open, you dismiss it as a golf game and dinner, and that nothing comes out of it.

Iran is a bit tougher than Iraq of Afghanistan. Especially since they have backing from China and Russia.

I have an interest in the theories, gives me a wonderful view into how people can contort logic to their own ends. Similar to my interest in religion, or pretty much anything where someone will gleefully bend their perceptions into a cute hat. But when you go through it there is rarely anything of substance to it, and generally any substance is removed as it doesn't give credence to the theory. In fact there's a particular author I'd like to find and smack the crap out of due to how much of my time as a kid I wasted on their books. Looking back into the stuff now using primary sources I find large sets of information that explains a great deal of the situation that they didn't bother to include in the books. But really, what other than a conspiracy theory is this? Have you ever seen what happens with a bunch of old men at a country club. I wasn't joking about the guys with the keg on the golf cart.

How come I read about it in the Chelsea Public Library in the early 60s? At best it could have been a secret for only 1 decade.
