      I always thought of those kinds of names as Swedish, not Danish... Or are they similar?

            Why jewish names? I would associate those more with Germany. Or the US.

                Yep, I didnt get that one. :) They arent very common today: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~dnkcen/FAQ/1000surnames.html[^] in fact they dont rate in the top 1000 names.
