...if BP had changed it's name to British-American-Petroleum would the US government have been so quick to vilify them? Just a thought.

You are an idiot. BP is Obama's friend. BP wrote much of the Cap & Trade legislation, and guess what Obama is using the oil spill for? Pushing Cap & Trade. Obama gave them an award not too long before the spill. He placed caps on BP's liability. He gives BP a fake little spanking just for shits and giggles so we will think that Obama Hussein is this big commanding authority but he just reads off of the teleprompter script big oil and his other Bilderberg buddies prepared for him.

Depends, how many once in a decade disasters would they cause with that name? Sure, plenty of idiots are fuming over the simple fact it's 'foreign' and I'd take a venture of a guess a significant portion of them live in Arizona, but most of us are a tad annoyed with the oil spill itself and how they apparently had no method to contain it other than relief wells(which they hadn't dug).

I have a problem with half assed attempts to solve a problem. Yes, they took the Federal law and applied it to their entire state. The problem? The Feds apply said laws at the border, where someone who is crossing is expecting a need of such documentation. Now anyone in Arizona is legally subject to being booted out of the state if they don't carry identification most people would rather keep in a safe(birth certificate), or just plain don't have(passport). That said the rest of your post was actually so stupid my mind didn't acknowledge it until I went to read back over what you said as it had seemed far to short content wise to the amount of text I'd seen. I've never had my mind simply reject something like that before, typically even the stupid is disassembled and broken down for anything interesting or useful. Congratulations, that is actually the single stupidest thing I've ever seen.

Funny note here, he's the kind of person who'd be angry over the 'foreign' company doing the damage. As such, you really shouldn't take them seriously, they're just looking for someone else to blame for their failings.

Not the point and I'm not trying to excuse what happened - just wondering if they had been, for instance, Exxon if the outcry would have been as bad - I suspect not.

With good reason I suspect any citizen of another country who's company has done wrong is going to think that people in the US are after it more because it's foreign and not for the times we're in. People in the US right now are particularly pissed at large blunders of the private and governmental kind right now. With Wall Street and big banks, it's just one more to add to the pile of screw ups. Personally, I haven't heard anything about it being foreign having anything to do with what to do with it. It's a large multinational corporation just like Xe(formerly known as Blackwater) and Halaburton, etc. No one in any video I've seen is blaming the Brits for this. Just because it has "British" in the name doesn't mean anything. I've always heard of it referred to as a multinational corporation not a British one.

The problem is that the Feds won't enforce the law, and Arizona is collapsing because of it. Arizona is losing it's land, some areas have become too dangerous to be in, ranchers and police are losing their lives to drug wars and petty criminals. States have the right to separate from the union and take care of its own business if the feds become corrupt, useless, and/or tyrannical. Arizona may not have separated from the union, but they are doing what all states need to do. We can't rely on the federal government any more. States need to do more than enforce immigration laws, they need to nullify federal laws, enforce the constitution, and legalize freedom. The country if falling apart and its up to the states to take charge and rebuild the union.

If enough people stop responding to his posts than it will be hard for him to get a rise out of anyone and thus validate his points of view. It's what he feeds off of.

I can say whatever I want in mine

Actually I'm pretty sure you can't. I mean, legally you might be able to, but if you said that to someone's face I'd not be at all surprised if they damaged you which is no less than you would deserve for being so willfully ignorant and revolting. Sometimes it's not about what you can say but what you should say - trying to win an argument or persuade someone of your argument is never going to be achieved by being offensive. Anyway, never really a pleasure to speak to you so I shall, form this moment, desist. Don't bother responding to this or any other posts as I shall simply ignore you.

Not the point and I'm not trying to excuse what happened - just wondering if they had been, for instance, Exxon if the outcry would have been as bad - I suspect not.

The outcry over the Exxon Valdez was pretty impressive from what I remember. That was the 54th largest spill in history. This is the 3rd largest.

Problem here is, it's not won't, it's can't. They don't have the money to do it, they don't have the man power to do it, and they most certainly don't have the balls to just cut the reason it is a problem in the first place.

And we're off in rant land with our capt'n. Let Arizona leave, then they can write their own constitution, and we can watch how that turns out.

Actually a libel suit would probably get your miserable little ass toss in jail where no one would have to listen to your prattle. I mean, don't let the reality that none of what you said was true stop you, just go on ranting. It'll ensure you never accomplish anything. Much like me, sitting here waiting for an upload to finish so I can launch a major systems change. But the difference is my lack of accomplishment will end in a few hours, you, it'll go so long as you have no respect for others.
