Global warming lie exposed: June was hottest ever recorded world wide. [modified]
-
Last month was the hottest June recorded worldwide, figures show[^] Take a look at Greenland. See all those big red spots, which mean the temperature was +5`C? Well, there arent any weather stations in the center of greenland, they are all around the coast. The same goes for many other areas with big fat red dots: Africa, Siberia and China. So, how do they decide that somewhere they havent got any data for AT ALL is 5`C warmer? Well, they make it up of course. Yep, they just plain lie. 'Why?' you might ask, 'arent they going to get caught out?' Well yes, they have been caught out: UAH and RSS data shows that the June anomoly was pretty much zero: http://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/07/03/uah-global-temperature-anomaly-for-june-09-zero/[^] http://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/07/10/rss-global-temperature-for-june-09-also-down/[^] And not only do they make up data for regions that dont HAVE any weather stations, they also make up data for regions that DO have weather stations by completely ignoring the real data! Yep, the good old station drop out. Here is GISS admitting it has dropped 85% of weather stations from its data base since 1980: "Number of stations"[^] Oh, and guess what supposedly started in 1980... Mind you, its not like lying is even shamefull to them in pursuit of their cause: "Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest" Schnieder. I wonder how much longer they can keep on lying and get away with it? Its up to you you know...

Anyone else have a month of record setting temperatures in their area last month? I did. We had some serious problems with heat stroke at a few festivals around here because of it. So feel free to tell the heat stroke victims about the big lie.

So a heat wave in Northern Europe and eastern US for a month constitutes proof of AGW?

You're claiming they're lying about it. I am at least one non-urban data point which can confirm record setting temperatures. Much like last time you posted this kind of 'lie of global warming' crap right dead in the middle of the heat wave. It was the hottest June recorded in my area, I was also asking if anyone else knew the stats for their area.

I don't think we broke any all-time records here in New York City this year, but we came VERY close. This month, though... July, not June. We broke at least one daily average (As in, it's the hottest it's ever been on a July 7th, or whichever day it was), but not monthly averages. Still, it's hot enough that every few days, Con Edison (The electricity provider for this region) is posting press releases asking people to cut usage because they can't keep up with all the air conditioning demands. Getting blackouts and brownouts all over (Fortunately we have an exceptionally-strong grid in my neighborhood, so none for me yet). No point arguing with AGW-boy though... He just assumes he's right, and claims any evidence to the contrary is a conspiracy. Even if you have your own weather station at your house, he'll claim you had it next to a heating vent or something.

You mean like the one at the bottom in this link, that shows warming: http://www.surfacestations.org/[^] Good try, but you failed. You ended up ridiculing yourself. ;P

Go on then, what's your local weather station data look like, and I mean raw data not anything manipulated by GISS or NOAA.

Why would I give a flying fuck what the weather station looks like when I could, and did, check the temperature using my own thermometers? I actually got some higher readings than they were reporting as the highs. See the weather station is a bit away from me, actually in a bit milder area due to proximity to a large body of water. So I generally double check these things myself. Oh, and even if it was next to a damn blast furnace you could make a few reasonable assumptions to calibrate the readings within a decent range of error. I'm rather waiting for you to start going on about how the walls aren't blue with the class of your scientific assertions.

Hansen, who runs the GISS data set, adjust for influences like the station being situated neara carpark, heat exchanger, barbecue (yes, there are some), by using night time satellite images. The more lights he sees the more he adjusts. All very well you might say but doesnt take into account the mirriad of stations in small towns which are badly located. Take a look at surfacestations.org of you want more proof of this. As for using your data to show that a record high has been accheived, how many years of data do you have and what instrumentaiton or locaiotn changes have there been during that period? ;)
