Being that it's a male trait, the safe assumption is that it refused to ask for directions.

Final Clinching Proof that there is no intelligent design. Instead of running from the testicle to the urethra, it loops up and over the pubic bone, bladder and kidneys. Not very intelligent is it? Going four times the distance for no reason whasoever other than perhaps it likes the taking the scenic route.

More proof: - the retina is inside out, causing a blind spot. - the Femur is not actually connected to the Tibia, they just sort of fit together, leaving the door wide open to nasty knee injuries. - the layer of tissue between the lungs and the ribcage is so thin that a broken rib can (and frequently does) puncture the lungs. - inhaling deeply can cause your heart to slow down or even briefly pause. - the appendix. 'Nuff said. Should I go on? :)

Because you would have done something differently does not provide "proof" that it wasn't intelligently designed. Anyway, here are two responses to your "proof":

Is Our ‘Inverted’ Retina Really ‘Bad Design’?[^]

Appendix May Actually Have a Purpose[^] Besides outside of ID, your "proof" could be used against natural selection. Why would the body maintain an organ that it doesn't need? Why would natural selection allow a blind spot? Why would the Tibia and Femur have become two separate disconnected bones without a connection if it was so bad? etc...

Because 0) none of these things are bad enough to warrant changing 1) evolution gets stuck in local maxima, where ID would just find the global maximum with magic - so evolution inherently leads to suboptimal designs, compared to ID.

If you want a really scenic route, go check out the nervous system of the giraffe - laryngeal nerve, from memory.

No no no - you've got it all wrong. The intelligent designer was just having a bad day. I'm sure you've seen the same thing in structured cabling cabinets all over the place. The engineer fits the cable termination, and then finds the cable is way too long, so instead of re-terminating the cable, he just loops it all over the place to keep it out of the way.

A bit like the deuterostomes, (of which we are one example), where in the blastosphere (aka blastula) a dimple appears, the first formation of the new body, and this is the Anus. So humans, like cats and dogs and fish and frogs, are formed Arse-First. Was that a result of the Designer having a bit of a laugh?

I disagree. It was ID. Resulting in a vasectomy procedure that is far simpler than castration. :)

Chris Meech I am Canadian. [heard in a local bar] In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is. [Yogi Berra]

Wel I disagree with that assertion. I cannot perform a vasectomy but I can perform a castration. :)

A single bug in your application counts as proof that there was no intelligent design? :)
