The simultaneous catastrophes of flooding in Pakistan, wildfires in Russia and landslides in China are evidence that global warming predictions are correct, according to climate change experts. [^] "Australia - Coldest June in nearly 30 years in Sydney with temperatures dropping to 39F (4C). " Guess they hid this away at the end in case anyone doesnt yet believe that warming isnt warming in the dictionary of AGW science (just like Windy is the new Warming, remember that article?). But for particularly rambling banality this piece cant be beat:Floods in Pakistan, drought in Russia and a global wake-up call [^] "Pakistan has been hit by its worst-ever natural disaster" Pakistan didnt exist 60 years or so ago so this isnt surprising since the floods have occured on a flood plain, you know, the flat land beside rivers caused by floods? "...the risk of political instability...Somalia ...the world's population has outstripped ... demand for meat... bio-fuel ethanol...genetic modification ...genetic modification ...conserve the soil such as contour and terrace farming and planting windbreaks...And water can be saved through better irrigation systems, encouraging the sowing of less thirsty crops, and urban recycling" Incoherent sound byte rambling at its best!

The first Telegraph heading does not reflect the content. It makes no reference to any climate change expert, just a list of events. So this is more a criticism of the media than of anything to do with climate change. The second is just media posturing full of unsubstantiated assertions. Neither has anything to do with the climate debate but then why would you expect that of the media.

Dont trust the papers, who cannot get the facts correct. This paper has mentioned Putin as President of Russia but to my knowledge, he is the Prime minister.
