I got an email this afternoon with subject
[CodeProject] Please take three minutes to help us make The Code Project even better
. It appears legit, but when I follow the link it sends me to a "Survey Closed" page.:confused::confused: What gives?Software rusts. Simon Stephenson, ca 1994.

If someone clicks the email link at the bottom of your messages, then it will come through to your email with the subject prefix [CodeProject] Possibly a spammer at work.
Dave Find Me On: Web|Facebook|Twitter|LinkedIn CPRepWatcher now available as Packaged Chrome Extension, visit my articles for link.

I know that. It's not a reply to any of my posts. It's an invitation from Jeff Hadfield to do a survey, as shown by the full subject line I posted.

If it's a spammer, he's REALLY good at forging mail headers, including routing inside CP. The IP addresses look legit. Let's see what the hamsters say... Cheers, Peter

It's legitimate, but we originally had the survey open for only a shirt time. I've opened it up again for those that missed out. The more the merrier! (reclick the link and you'll be able to help us out)

It's my mistake -- I forgot to check the survey duration before I sent out a second round of survey invites last night. This is what I get for trying to squeeze out a bit more late-night productivity! Luckily Chris was up feeding the hamsters at the crack of dawn EST and took care of it. Sorry for the error!
