    Seconded.

Proud to have finally moved to the A-Ark. Which one are you in?

Yes, I admit I was temporarily encouraged by the recent talk of Zombie Jesus, but starvation seems imminent for brain feeders. :-D (Where ya been lately?)

Got picked for a jury... Before challenges, I was Juror #13, my favorite number, but we got new numbers when it was finalized :( Anyway... No electronics at the courthouse, so I had to spend three excruciatingly-painful days without phone or Internet. Haven't been without my mobile for that long since my college days.

I don't feel slapped down by his annoying history talks, he thinks they "prove" something - and they do, they prove that he can read wikipedia. It was just a useless discussion. Neither side was going to gain anything from it. Except in the beginning, when it still (briefly) provided some entertainment. But seriously, I just made a funny statement and he attacks me with bullshit history? wtf.

Only for FB's incessant GW crap. There's no emoticon for a zombie with it's brain removed, so I'll stick with this. :-D

http://www.usnews.com/science/articles/2010/09/15/cuckoos-thrown-off-by-climate-change.html[^] "What’s driving the shift, Møller says, is that climate change affects migration patterns differently depending on their scope. Cuckoos themselves migrate all the way from Europe to sub-Saharan Africa for the winter. By the time they return in spring, early warming has already pushed the year-round residents and short-distance migrants too far along in their nesting to be good cuckoo targets. “This study clearly illustrates how climate change not only alters the timing of breeding in many species but also disrupts the exquisitely timed interactions between closely interacting species,”" Clearly this is worth spending $27 trillion to resolve. After all, we cant have Cuckoos not killing the unborn babies of their habitual victims, such a thing would be, well, inhumane.

Oh, I was on the actual jury... It was a short trial though... Started Monday, ended yesterday, so I'm back at work now. Was kind of interesting. My first time actually being selected for a jury (Last time, I was never even picked from the pool). Didn't think there was much of a chance of me actually surviving the challenges, but I did. I figured the "wrong" side would hear "Programmer" and think, "Oh crap, it's a computer geek! We'll never be able to trick him into agreeing with us!" But I guess someone was asleep at the wheel :)
