Maybe I'm just very cynical, but proving it or anything else that requires people to change the way they maintain their lifestyle will always be met with great resistance. For examples look at the labor practices used to create our goods sold here in the US. We can't even get a living wage for people who work full time.

That's called seagull management (or sometimes pigeon management)... Fly in, flap your arms and squawk a lot, crap all over everything and fly out again... by _Damian S_

Not so, GW can easilly be disproved by doing nothing. Look at the last ten years.

Morality is indistinguishable from social proscription

It's not actually Global Warming, it's global climate change. It will take longer than 10 years to prove it for people as adamant as you are. When scientists can point to exactly where all the extra CO2 is going we'll know. In the mean time political, economic, etc arguments will be made rather than scientific ones.

No it isnt. The globes climate hasnt changed in 10 years. Call it, 'global fuck all', its nore accurate.

So say you, because whenever a study shows that it HAS changed, you discredit by pointing out that it wasn't filed in triplicate, lost, found, buried in peat moss for several months, and recycled as fire-lighters. The Vogons would be proud. Oh, and you also want the whole model to be scrapped, and replaced with a single first-order equation, because anything too complicated to be written on one page can't possibly be accurate.

Or the oceans. Or the biosphere. Hmm, in hindsight, I shouldn't have bothered giving a real answer to that second quote... It spoils the H2G2 quote.

Proud to have finally moved to the A-Ark. Which one are you in?

In fact every temperature (and yes it IS temperature that we are interested in) series shows no significant change over the last 10 years. Show me one that doesnt if you can.
