There are lots of necessary things for E commerce based Website. 1) Payment Gateways. 2) What u want to sale using your site. 3) Which technology u want to use. And many more, And depending on that Your cost will be calculated

In an e-commerce web site you should have a payment gateway in it. There must a product catalogue to show up your products. You should build your site on an e-commerce platform for better results like magento or zencart.
