Assuming she'd know that much and he could narrow it down from there. She said "No". So he said "What about the UK?", she said "Oh yeah i've heared of that somewhere, near London isn't it?" DID YOU GUYS GET TAUGHT ANYTHING AT SCHOOL! There is only a limited amount of American history compared to other countries, and the majority of that is civil wars and the war of independance. About 400 miles at a guess...the halfway point between London and Edinburgh is about 15 miles north of York (200 miles or so from London). And if they can figure out that it's not, then they'll assume Toronto's the captial. (technically, it is the captial of Ontario, but not the whole frelling country). I knew someone who wants to take a taxi from Edmonton to Winnipeg (~1,300 km) :omg:. I told him that it wasn't poossible. "But they look so close on the map!!" was his response. :grrrr: That's why I ramble so much. If you're short and quotable, there's a much greater danger of ending up in a sig. Because the capital city is not the only city in most countries. I also assume that the Capital is not the best city in the country. For example IMHO Istanbul is a much nicer city that Anchara (sp?) in Turkey, yet the latter is the capital.
