Would some of you soapboxers STOP making trivial posts of the most minor matters here. Just refrain yourselves for a moment and look at the last few post's subject lines. My latest run-in with microsoft UK Slides on photo CD, and Diana Ow, my brain bubblegum instability When you have friends like these... (ok this one wasn't too bad) Things to say when stressed at work :-) Drunken rant... If you ever need to cuss in a different language Possibly Ruined Weekend a little consistency, please Santa... :P Just because some weak thought has entered your head, there is no reason to share it with the rest of us. Try to make posts here in the soapbox that are well thought out and antagonize the maximum number of people possible. Regardz Colin J Davies

You missed "Trivial Posts" from your list Colin Davies wrote: Try to make posts here in the soapbox that are well thought out and antagonize the maximum number of people possible. I placed a link to my site so i didn't have to waste CP's bandwidth, is that a crime? Ok ok, all who forward the motion of having a "Useless Cr*p" forum say 'Aye'

We brought out this new and very similar version of our expensive software because the old version was......old....It's a good enough excuse for Microsoft so its fine for us.

Oddly enough, this very subject was covered in a recent NYTimes story: [http://www.nytimes.com/2002/11/25/technology/25CND-IDENTITY.html](about:there was a perfectly good arrow to the left, you should have used it.)[[^](javascript:alert('way to go!') "New Window")] Shog9 ------

Hey all, I'd like to apologize yet again for my "Drunken rant" (I honestly don't remember posting it, among other things my roommates said that I did). I totally agree that stuff like this shouldn't be posted in any forum on CP. I'll have my roommates take away my CP priveledges when I'm wasted. Colin, I appreciate your straightforwardness, it seems like everybody is beating around the bush to try to solve problems these days. Brad Jennings Feel free to beat me up now.
