Thanksgiving. I ate, smoked, drank, and then ate some more. My contribution to society for today can only be described in negative terms. I spent time with family i rarely see, said things i rarely say... ...I can't imagine being any more satisfied if i were King.* Life is Good. There's a lot to be thankful for... :-D (hope you all had a good time :)) *****except for the many virgins giving me back rubs. Some of those kings really had their shit together...

Here too. Went out, ran the Turkey Trot (biggest 8K run in the Midwest; 4300+ runners this year; see www.orrrc.org[^]). 28 degrees F (-2C) at the start; cooler than last year, warmer than the year before. First time I've run in almost three months, after wrecking my ankle in a fall on the trails. Went pretty well, although my hips hurt like hell Friday morning. Went to my Mom's for dinner, stuffed myself silly. Saw my brother for the first time in almost 6 months, which was nice. All in all, a great day.
